Josh:Lauren Married!

A couple of weeks ago, Robb and I journeyed up to Hamilton to shoot Josh & Lauren's wedding. Robb pulled double duty as performed the ceremony - which we hear was the quickest ceremony ever, and that was perfect for Josh & Lauren!

Lauren's mom said she has a new appreciation for pro florists now that she & Lauren made this a DIY project. I still think they did a great job!

The foyer seemed like the perfect place for a wedding dress to hang...

This little lady is Lauren's new little niece. SO adorable!

Lauren, getting glam...

Love her eyes in this one!

This was a sweet moment I caught between Lauren & her mom just before the ceremony.

Lauren & Josh had a harpist for their ceremony....the harp was fabulous for detail shots!

Can you tell they are excited?! This is just before they are officially pronounced.

The new Mr. & Mrs. in the balcony of the Sesquicentennial Chapel in Oxford.

The cake was definitely our most unique so far this year. Patricia's did a fantastic job!

Sharing their first dance at The Fitton Center for the Arts, which is such a unique and fun venue!

Lauren sent me an itinerary a couple of weeks before the wedding. She noted that due to her dad's injury, they would just dance long enough for a few quick photos, and then her dad would take a seat. You see, Lauren's dad moves the chains for Miami's football team. Back when they played UK at Paul Brown Stadium, he took a hit from two UK players and did a real number on his leg - as in a brace, crutches, the works. The rumor is that he did physical therapy every day for a couple of weeks just to be ready for this dance. And he was. They danced the entire song. How awesome of a story is that?!

One last shot outside the Fitton Center of the bride & groom before the night was over!

Lauren & Josh - it has been our privelage to work with you. You have been so fun, and your families are wonderful. Couple that with a shared love of Coach handbags (me & Lauren) and bulldogs (Robb loves them; Lauren's parents have THREE of them), and we definitely see a lasting friendship! Thank you so much for letting us share in your day!

Jason:Marci Married!

A couple of weeks ago, Jason & Marci finally got married...after 8 long years! Lucky Clover was honored to bring Eliot (yes, from Eliot:Melanie) on board for to shoot this wedding for us. He did an absolutely fantastic job, as evidenced in the following images!

Fall was definitely in the air, and Marci & Jason did a great job incorporating all the beautiful fall colors.

Wish jars are becoming pretty popular at weddings these days.

Yummy cake...I love the ribbon on this one!

Jason & Marci got married at the Anderson Center, which also houses a theater - which meant Eliot & Melanie got to have a lot of fun with the dressing room!

Marci's smokey eye makeup was perfect for a shot like this!

The radiant bride!

Obviously, Jason thought so too!

Love this shot from their trip over to Ault Park!

Marci's blue eyes really pop against the red and green background.

Jason, looking dashing on the stepping stones at Anderson Center.

One last shot of Marci.

Jason & Marci - it has been wonderful to work with you so far! And to Eliot & Melanie, Robb and I can't thank you enough for working with us on this wedding! You did an amazing job!

Mark:Cretia Married!

As promised, here's the second half of Mark & Cretia's wedding. They got married outside, on a day where it looked like rain, but it never came. They brightened up the landscape with beautiful fall colors, and arrived in horse-drawn carriages, complete with drivers in period dress. Definitely the most unique thing I've seen this year!

Mark, catching his first glimpse of Cretia coming up the aisle.

Love this shot!

Robb spotted the John Deere tractor, and Mark was game, so here you go - a boy and a tractor!

We re-visited the train tracks (which Mark & Cretia introduced us to) and grabbed some shots there as the day was turning to night...

The Mr. & Mrs.!

Love the "almost" kiss!

The failing light gave way to a cool, cloudy sky - a much different look than when we were here for their engagement session!

Mark & Cretia - it has be an honor to work with you both! We really loved your wedding (and your reception!) and consider our selves lucky to have been a part of it!

Mark:Cretia {The Details}

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm splitting this wedding into two different posts. By the time we were done selecting images, we discovered we had way too many for one post! That's the thing about backyard weddings - they have so much personality and such great details, all of which makes for long posts!

This is Mark & Cretia's wedding details - when we did their e-session, they talked about all the ideas they had, and seeing it all come together like it did - well, it was a photographer's dream!

We'll start with the rings - Love the classic, simple look!

Cretia's "something blue"

Cretia's gown was perfect for an outdoor fall wedding!

Fall weddings are my favorite, mostly for colors like you see here!

Cretia did the flowers herself, with the help of The Flowerman. Robb and I think she did a fantastic job!

I loved the raffia and the mason jars for centerpieces!

This was a great way to add color, and keep that country feel to the wedding!

Mmm... cupcakes! (And yes, those are whoppers on the chocolate ones!)

There's a cabin on the property, and they decorated it with their engagement photos, candles, and dinner (two of Robb's favorites, by the way: Skyline & LaRosa's. He was in heaven!)

I've not seen this done before, but I'm totally stealing this for my backyard!

Inside the cabin, the chandelier was an old wagon wheel with old oil lamps hanging from it. Awesomeness!

Check back soon for more images from this wedding!

Brad:Erin Married!

We've waited a long time to write this blog! From the moment Robb and I met Erin & Brad, we loved them. They are such great people, and ever since their e-session back in April, I have had that "night before the first day of school" feeling...in fact, the night before their wedding, I couldn't sleep, I was just SO excited!

Erin called me a few days before the wedding, and we talked about the likelihood of rain. We came up with a back up plan...and Mother Nature gave us sun instead. Besides the wind, it ended up being a pretty good day! The reception was off the hook - Robb and I are still talking about Brad & Erin's first dance, and we loved seeing two of our other couples from this year there! We truly believe we've made friends for life - and that is a wonderful feeling!

Enjoy the teasers B+E!

You might recognize this bracelet - it was Jinni's, and was Erin's "something borrowed." I recognized it as soon as I pulled it from its bag. I already made Jinni promise I can wear it when Robb and I renew our vows!

I am seriously in love with Erin's veil. And her eyes are awesome too!

Brad helping Erin's son get dressed. He is seriously adorable!

Erin got her daughter a pearl necklace to wear - Kelsie was super excited!

Erin getting a kiss from her little man...

Just a beautiful bride, hanging out on the Streets of West Chester!

Anyone who follows Erin on The Knot will totally get this picture!

Erin got Brad a certain something special as his wedding present...here he is, opening the card with the teasers in it, and trying to hide his reaction to what was inside from Robb!

...I don't know Erin - do you think he liked it?!

There were lots of funny moments during the ceremony too!

Loved this one!

Ahh...the first dance - it was so awesome!

And of course, the bling (and one of Brad's clubs...)

Erin & Brad - We are so honored you asked us to share such an amazing day with you and your families. We had the best time - and I don't doubt we'll have many more down the road!
