Mark:Cretia Married!

As promised, here's the second half of Mark & Cretia's wedding. They got married outside, on a day where it looked like rain, but it never came. They brightened up the landscape with beautiful fall colors, and arrived in horse-drawn carriages, complete with drivers in period dress. Definitely the most unique thing I've seen this year!

Mark, catching his first glimpse of Cretia coming up the aisle.

Love this shot!

Robb spotted the John Deere tractor, and Mark was game, so here you go - a boy and a tractor!

We re-visited the train tracks (which Mark & Cretia introduced us to) and grabbed some shots there as the day was turning to night...

The Mr. & Mrs.!

Love the "almost" kiss!

The failing light gave way to a cool, cloudy sky - a much different look than when we were here for their engagement session!

Mark & Cretia - it has be an honor to work with you both! We really loved your wedding (and your reception!) and consider our selves lucky to have been a part of it!

Mark:Cretia {The Details}

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm splitting this wedding into two different posts. By the time we were done selecting images, we discovered we had way too many for one post! That's the thing about backyard weddings - they have so much personality and such great details, all of which makes for long posts!

This is Mark & Cretia's wedding details - when we did their e-session, they talked about all the ideas they had, and seeing it all come together like it did - well, it was a photographer's dream!

We'll start with the rings - Love the classic, simple look!

Cretia's "something blue"

Cretia's gown was perfect for an outdoor fall wedding!

Fall weddings are my favorite, mostly for colors like you see here!

Cretia did the flowers herself, with the help of The Flowerman. Robb and I think she did a fantastic job!

I loved the raffia and the mason jars for centerpieces!

This was a great way to add color, and keep that country feel to the wedding!

Mmm... cupcakes! (And yes, those are whoppers on the chocolate ones!)

There's a cabin on the property, and they decorated it with their engagement photos, candles, and dinner (two of Robb's favorites, by the way: Skyline & LaRosa's. He was in heaven!)

I've not seen this done before, but I'm totally stealing this for my backyard!

Inside the cabin, the chandelier was an old wagon wheel with old oil lamps hanging from it. Awesomeness!

Check back soon for more images from this wedding!

Brad:Erin Married!

We've waited a long time to write this blog! From the moment Robb and I met Erin & Brad, we loved them. They are such great people, and ever since their e-session back in April, I have had that "night before the first day of school" feeling...in fact, the night before their wedding, I couldn't sleep, I was just SO excited!

Erin called me a few days before the wedding, and we talked about the likelihood of rain. We came up with a back up plan...and Mother Nature gave us sun instead. Besides the wind, it ended up being a pretty good day! The reception was off the hook - Robb and I are still talking about Brad & Erin's first dance, and we loved seeing two of our other couples from this year there! We truly believe we've made friends for life - and that is a wonderful feeling!

Enjoy the teasers B+E!

You might recognize this bracelet - it was Jinni's, and was Erin's "something borrowed." I recognized it as soon as I pulled it from its bag. I already made Jinni promise I can wear it when Robb and I renew our vows!

I am seriously in love with Erin's veil. And her eyes are awesome too!

Brad helping Erin's son get dressed. He is seriously adorable!

Erin got her daughter a pearl necklace to wear - Kelsie was super excited!

Erin getting a kiss from her little man...

Just a beautiful bride, hanging out on the Streets of West Chester!

Anyone who follows Erin on The Knot will totally get this picture!

Erin got Brad a certain something special as his wedding present...here he is, opening the card with the teasers in it, and trying to hide his reaction to what was inside from Robb!

...I don't know Erin - do you think he liked it?!

There were lots of funny moments during the ceremony too!

Loved this one!

Ahh...the first dance - it was so awesome!

And of course, the bling (and one of Brad's clubs...)

Erin & Brad - We are so honored you asked us to share such an amazing day with you and your families. We had the best time - and I don't doubt we'll have many more down the road!

Mike:Kimi Engaged!

Up next in our blogging adventures is Mike & Kimi's engagement session. I really love these two! They are super natural in front of the camera, and they have a really funky sense of style. If you don't believe me, check out Kimi's boots!

As we were taking the last shot, the MetLife blimp was coming back from the Bengals game (you know, the one where they beat the Steelers?!) and practically landed on top of us!

Mike & Kimi, your wedding is going to rock, this much I know! We can't wait for 2010!

Tom:Ashley Engaged!

Good morning blog follwers!

I'm up early getting all these blog posts done so that I can get back to editing and preparing for weddings this weekend, so let's get right to it!

First up this morning is Ashley & Tom. They were one of three couples we shot a couple Sundays ago. They were a great time, especially because they brought their adorable dogs along to Devou! We also got to go to UC for some shots, and it was just what this Bearcat needed after being "forced" (again, I kid...) over to enemy territory earlier in the day.

Enjoy!

Aren't Gordie and Jack adorable?!

I'm not sure who is walking who here...

Love the leaves down by P&G!

It's not everday we get to do engagement sessions on the field of a nationally ranked football team... (Go Bearcats! - Sorry, had to throw that in there!)

From the few minutes I sat in these seats, I can tell they weren't designed for comfort. But hey, I figure most people are usually standing up and cheering anyway. It made for a cute shot of Tom & Ashley, and that's all that mattered!

Big thanks to Tom & Ashley for playing tour guides down at UC - so much has changed, and it was such fun to work with both you, Gordie, and Jack!

Check back later - more blogging to come!
