I can't believe it's been a month since Robert & Lynna got married! We have been so, so busy and I have become a very bad blogger!
It seems like Lynna and Robert may be the most patient people ever. They dated in high school, but had to be patient for life to bring them back together. Even on their wedding day, when a brief shower started just before their ceremony, they decided to be patient. They waited, and it paid off with beautiful rays of sun just before their vows, and a rainbow afterward. If that's any indication of how their life will be, I can only imagine they will live a long, and blessed life together!
So, no need for any more patience...let's start with some bling! I love how all the rings compliment one another!

There's times when Robb and I have a concept, and we don't know if it'll work or not, but we try it anyway (thanks to digital equipment, we photographers can do that more often these days). When I posed Lynna for this shot, I knew in my head how I wanted it to look once it was edited. Maybe it works for you, and maybe it doesn't, but I kind of dig it. It's very vintage-looking, and a different take on a classic pose.

Lynna mentioned early on there was a mansion in Aurora that she wanted to use for photos prior to the weddings. WOW, am I glad she suggested this place! It was beautiful, and old (as in, you couldn't actually sit on the chairs old....) and beautiful. Add a beaming Lynna and Robert and you've got a perfect setting for wedding photos!

The ceremony and reception was at Dearborn County Country Club. I really loved this venue. And it was so worth it to wait out the rain so they could still have their outdoor ceremony!

Robb grabbed this shot. There are some shots just made for lens flare, and this is one of them. Add to it that it has a "fish-eye" feel (but wasn't shot with a fish eye lens), and well, I think it works!

Knowing Robert & Lynna's story made for an emotional ceremony to start with. Once Robert choked up a little during his vows...well, this photographer got a little misty-eyed herself!

Mr. & Mrs.!

Another shot out on the course.

This shot doesn't work for every bridal party, but these folks were ready to have fun, and it showed!

Robert & Lynna, thank you so much for allowing us to share such a beautiful, special day! I know there's more to come!
